NO
No, you are NOT using quad9.
Why am I getting a “No” response?
These are five common reasons why you are receiving a response indicating you are not connected to Quad9:
Using Firefox or Brave?
Firefox/Brave are configured to use Cloudflare by default for DNS in some
countries. Make sure setting is set to “Off”:

Using iOS or MacOS?
Make sure iCloud Private Relay is disabled. This is required to use third-party
DNS services.

Connected to a VPN?
If connected to a VPN, Quad9 must be set in the “Custom DNS Servers” settings of the VPN client, which most VPN clients support. VPN clients will typically not utilize the DNS settings set in the router (DHCP) or in the device’s network settings.
Are Quad9 IPs the exclusive DNS servers?
The on.quad9.net page will not display “Yes” if using a mix of Quad9 and non-Quad9 IPs in the DNS settings.
